A single woman named Hope has procured a rare book under strange circumstances. Little does she know that the book has a life of it’s own – drawing out the fears of those who possess it. Hope struggles to figure out the meaning of the book before it’s too late.

Director’s Statement:

I’m a huge fan of the horror genre as well as occult and supernatural folklore. Drawn to Fear is a film that embraces some cliche horror film elements, as well as integrates a strong and original concept / storyline. As a fan of horror / fantasy books and RPGs growing up, I wanted an artifact to be the catalyst for the story. The book becomes more than just a vessel, it’s a compendium of deaths and souls. The short film is brief enough to portray one specific death and one life lost to the book.
