1. What is your screenplay about?
The Work of Zombies tells the story of a young lovestruck voodoo priest and the havoc he causes chasing an unrequited love and the Cajun cop just savvy enough in the voodoo arts to know how to stop him.

3. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?
The Work of Zombies returns the undead to their traditional roots – an imposed hypnotic punishment meant to intimidate and control a superstitious population. Low budget and set in Savannah’s Haitian community this script turns the zombie trope on its head for a fresh new look into fear.

A cautionary tale
5. What movie have you seen the most times in your life?
There are a couple, but it’s a toss-up between The Wizard of Oz and The Great Escape.
6. How long have you been working on this screenplay?
This script is about 5 years old. I’ve come back to it time and again after receiving critiques, and stubborn determination to see it on film.
7. How many stories have you written?
Short stories – about two dozen. Teleplays – closing in on 100, mostly my original series work, a few spec scripts. Features – 18. Writing’s not the problem, networking and salesmanship is.
8. What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the
most times in your life?)
This is tougher than the movie question. I’m going to go with Handel’s The Hallelujah Chorus. Mainly because one I sung that in a small church with the acoustics tossing back the sound and the audience kicking in, that was the most thrilling singing experience of my life.
9. What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?
Balancing the criminal investigation with the horror aspects.
10. Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
Choral singing, needlework, reading non-fiction, environmental issues.
